Kyung Min has finished his Bachelor's Degree in Music Synthesis & Music Business/Management at Berklee College of Music.

The College Repertory Orchestra, under the leadership of Kyung Min, had their Summer '06 concert tonight at David Friend Recital Hall of the Uchida Building at Berklee. The concert featured works by Mozart and three world premieres of Berklee student works, including an orchestration of a film score by Kyung Min. For more information, please visit CROBoston.org

Kyung Min officially become a citizen of the United States today at the JFK Federal Building of Government Center in Boston, MA. This is a switch from his previous status as Permanent Resident and citizen of South Korea, which he had been for the past 10 years.

A film Kyung Min scored, Rachel Arnold's "Please Fall Softly; Please Fall Blindly", was entered into Stash Media's GSAA (Global Student Animation Awards) competition for 2006, and it is one of the finalists. The film can be viewed here.

Kyung Min has been hired by Digidesign, the industry leader in digital audio and live sound, to be the new Merchandising Specialist for the LE product line in the Northeast region of North America, which is part of a recently formed division at the company.

Earlier in April, Kyung Min was part of Burger Menu Productions, a team participating in the 48 Hour Film Festival. The film that Burger Menu submitted, "Room 17" (you can check it out here, has now made it to the Best of Boston round, which will take place on May 16th at the Good Time Emporium.

Kyung Min has been selected to receive an increase in his Berklee Achievement Scholarship (BAS). He was selected for an increase by the Scholarships office based on his outstanding achievement and contributions inside Berklee and in the community at large.

Kyung Min has been selected to receive the Department Achievement Award from the Music Business Department at Berklee. He was selected to receive this award by the faculty based on his outstanding achievement and contributions representing the department to other areas of the college and the community beyond Berklee.

Kyung Min has been selected to receive the Division Achievement Award from the Music Technology Division at Berklee. He was selected to receive this award by the faculty based on his outstanding achievement and contributions representing the division to other areas of the college and the community beyond Berklee.

Kyung Min has been selected to receive the KAO Infosystems Award from the Music Synthesis Department at Berklee. He was selected to receive this award by the faculty based on his outstanding achievement and contributions to the department, as well as his interest and work in multimedia.
